Mini mannequining it!

Using a 1/4 scale mannequin to create shapes on - something I haven't done before. Starting small removes the fear of a huge design piece which can be quite daunting in retrospect.

Doing this helped me realise I wanted to create voluminous garments which hold a lot of structure without wasting any fabric. Although they were a small part of my project, they started the ideas on what garments I wanted to actually make after spending a long time doing research.
